Rusty I came home and found my Rusty kitty had passed away in my bed. She was dropped off at out farm some years ago among all my barn cats. Since she was declawed, she got picked on by all the barn cats. We decided to bring her in the house and she has been indoors since. She was a very sweet, sweet cat with a puppy like personality. I missed her sleeping by my feet last night, it just is not the same without her. I had her to the vet a few weeks age and the vet thought she was pretty up there in age. My other kitty, who usually slept right next to Rusty in our bed, has not gotten off the living room chair since last night. We all miss Rusty. I've had many cats over the years but Rusty was one of those truly special ones. She was dropped off in our barn in a card board box and I could never understand why someone would want to give her up. When you itched her back she would stick out her tongue. When she would meow, she'd open her mouth but no noise would come out...it was strange. But she would purr like crazy. We were playing with Rusty yesterday morning before leaving for the sale and she was fine. Jason cried last night too, she was his favorite. I've attached a picture of her and her buddy Fuzzy. I'm worried about Fuzzy, she didn't even come to bed last night.
