Denmark Denmark's Olympic Medals Denmark's last Olympic medal was Anne Grethe Jensen's individual silver at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics with Marzog. Only Dr. Reiner Klimke and Ahlerich were better. In 1956, Lis Hartel won her second individual silver medal at Stockholm, 1956, with Jubilee, and the first one in 1952 at Helsinki. Lis Hartel was the first woman to win an Olympic dressage medal. She was crippled with polio but vowed she would ride again. She had to be lifted onto her horse to compete.
