Hi Beth -
Nice being able to meet you "
face-to-face " this past week.
Debbie had told everyone at Ky's Meet
' N Greet that as she went down the
center line " let it rock on ". She wanted everyone to
express themselves as
she and Brentina did so well !
There was such energy in that place it was totally amazing !! !!!!!
And that
little " shimmy " that Debbie did as she passed E and B
brought everyone to
a peak of applause and laughter and screams, hollars and whoops !

just puffed up even more and was spectacular !
I heard from more than one person
that they felt Edward Gal should've won
with Debbie 2nd and Anky 3rd. I just read online that Axel Steiner
had them that way as well. Would be interesting to see judges cards
for that !
The very cool thing also said over
and over how the dressage crowd totally
blew the jumping crowd away. The vendors I overheard said " the
dressage
people put the jumpers to shame. " Hee hee.....
I loved it all ! Home now, tired but
very happy ! Jumping finals were not as exciting...........

I was a bit " forward
" on Friday evening. I saw Klaus Balkenhol relaxing at
the bar with his wife at the Paris. I grabbed my program and pen and
sidled
up to him, smiled and asked for an autograph. He kindly smiled ,
asked for the
date, grabbed his cell phone that had a picture of a cute puppy on
it. They
had just bought it, a border collie I believe and were having
it shipped back
to Germany with them.
The autograph is exciting, but he wrote something in German that I
don't
understand. :-) I'm going to have to find someone who understands
and reads
German......

Also, the crowd boo'd when
scores were given for Lone JOERGENSEN from Denmark.
Later, her scores were adjusted a tad......
And it was her birthday ! She was an excited gal. She tossed
her flowers
into the stands. |

I was so excited to have
won one of your great videos ! I haven't had time to view it yet as
the weekend after we got back from World Cup, I had a Reese Koffler
clinic to get ready for.
She translated Klaus's words in his autograph for me, " lovely
greetings " is what she came up with. That sounds nice to me.
She agreed what nice people he and his wife are.
Here is a photo of Debbie and me at the Meet n'Greet as well as one
of me on Nick with Reese. I wish I'd had a photo from this weekend
as Nick was AWESOME. Reese said we got the " most improved
" award ! ( must've been the World cup high )
