We gravitate towards horses,
As a cat stretches in rays of the sun.
We orbit their warmth and generosity,
Our souls are nourished in their glow.
On a clear night, look upwards,
See thousands of stars, each a sun;
Each a warm and wonderful horse
Grazing in fields dark and distant.
Horses are suns and we the planets
Gladly moving in grip of their gravity.
How else to explain the attraction,
Or do the planets simply love the sun ? |
