| How
blessed we are to have Zachary in our life. He came to us as a
foster child in Feb, 2000, and we became his legal guardians within
6 months. Here we are, almost three years later and now have a whole
new appreciation, for all of you, who have raised kids through the
school years. Some times it seems as if we are working harder on the
home work than Zach is. Aside from school, we still feel like we
cheated by having a 9 year old instead of an infant. Zach is a lot
of fun and all three of us are now riding and playing tennis
together. |

| Since
9/11, I have changed my priorities to spend more time at home. I
have cut way down on my judging jobs and clinics. Instead I am
working harder on the Real Estate, because it doesn't require me to
travel. I still have four horses of my own, and this year my 7 year
old stallion Windfall was approved as a breeding stallion in four
different registries. I have been very busy with all the paper work
that goes along with the promotion of a breeding stallion. |

| In
2001 Windfall was named United States Horse of the Year at Third
level with a median score of 72%. This year Windfall was named
American Hanoverian Society's Horse of the Year at 4th level with a
median score of 68.8%. I also own his 3 year old son Windsor and he
is the most trainable young horse I have ever had. |

| I
am devoting a lot of time to mentoring children, and that is the
direction I see my life going. Joel is very supportive of this.
Someday we would love to have an orphanage right here, on our Ranch
in Santa Ynez Valley. Our plan is to build a new main house for us,
and then turn our current house into a group home (modern name for
small orphanage). It is a slow process to get to that point
and it will probably take five years before it happens. In the
meantime, I have this idea of starting a dance studio/club for the
over 40 crowd. It would be mostly ballroom dancing, like the Waltz,
Cha cha, Tango, Mambo and Swing. At the moment, I am looking at
spaces for lease and it should be a reality in a couple of months. I
have always loved to dance and since there is no dance studio where
we live, I decided to open one. |

Joel
is enjoying his polo as much as he ever did, and also enjoys the
challenge of starting the young horses. It is great that we both
have the same love and obsession with horses. Another interest that
we share is tennis and often we will either play singles or doubles
with friends or with Zachary and his friends. Joel also love skiing
and flying his plane.
