Margaret
"Greta" is an American Warmblood Registry branded 1st
premium mare sired by Ganimede by Garibaldi II (Grande) and out of a
first premium TB mare (our best!).
She is a beautiful bay with white spots and slight sock on her rear
feet, and a tiny star. She was foaled 4-24-03 and is going to finish
over 16.2 hands. A lovely mover that is expressive and modern in
type, with a soft, co-operative manner and wonderful way of going,
this youngster will mature into an impressive upper level dressage
mount.
She has been
lightly started and has a great work ethic, always coming up to the
gate to be first. She received all 7.5 marks at her weanling
inspection in spite of being an ungainly 6 months of age. Judges
comments were:
"Feminine
sporthorse with good expression. Neck is well shaped and well set
on. Good croup, shoulder correct length and angle, excellent thigh,
good bone, good pasterns, well proportioned all around. Steps well
under herself at the walk, uphill, good, ground covering canter with
extension and suspension."
Greta was bred to
be a replacement for her dam at our breeding facility, but things
change - her dam is still producing for us, and once Greta went
under saddle, we realized she really wants to be in the show
arena!
