Sagenhaft HW's dam,
SPS High Princess, is entered with an overall 9 in the Hanoverian
marebook. That is a VERY rare score and seldom achieved! SPS High
Princess' grand dam, SPS Batavia, has, among other winners, produced
the 1997 Bundes Champion (National Champion of Germany for Dressage),
Duvalier by Davignon. Duvalier sold initially at Verden for DM 240,000
and then for DM 1,000,000. Her full sister scored 10s on her gaits at
her inspection and is competing at I-1 right now. Their sire, the
Elite Trakehner Stallion Hohenstein (Caprimond/Matador) with a
Dressage Index of 148.29 points, sired the 2001 Silver Medallist at
the World Young Dressage Horse Championships, Munchhausen, and the
2000 German Vice Federal Champion, Habitus as well as the unchallenged
winner of the Hanoverian licensing in 2002, His Highness and he was
sold for the price record of 515,000 € to Leatherdale Farms/USA.
Sagenhaft's full
brother Selten HW was the Reserve Grand Champion of Dressage at Devon,
won the USDF Breeders Championship for Colts and Geldings, Champion
Winner of his class: 2 year old Colts and Geldings. Best born in the
USA and High Point Hanoverian, holding the Dressage at Devon Perpetual
Trophy at American Hanoverian Society in 2006. Champion stallion of
the Oldenburg licensing at Hassler Dressage in 2007 with quote Hassler
Dressage: "An extremely high dressage index!" and just sold
to a Pan Am rider, training with Guenther Seidel and Klaus Balkenhol.
Selten HW ranks
officially in FIRST PLACE of the 2008 USEF National Young Horse List,
four–year–old–division with an overall all score of 8.18!
Spring Dressage at
Morven Park: Trainer Michael Bragdell got Hilltop's regular show
season off to a running start this weekend at VADA/ Nova's Spring
Dressage Competition in Leesburg, Virginia. He came home with several
wins, including two first place finishes on Selten-HW, in the USEF
Four Year Old Test. Michael and Selten scored an 8.2 on Sunday and an
impressive 8.7 on Saturday, receiving comments such as "super
hors", "active, expressive and impressively talented"
from Judges Betsy Berry, Lorraine MacDonald and Brenda Minor.
So does that read
like the "Who is Who"? Here is the rare chance to buy Selten
HW's full brother, a horse of international quality and with very
famous and successful bloodlines!
Sagenhaft HW is an
overly handsome and striking boy with a super pretty head and neck.
Within his taller confirmation, he is very proportional in his build
which, combined with his movement, yields exciting potential for his
future development. Overall, Sagenhaft HW has a soft, elegant way of
moving in all three gaits, with impressive suspension in his trot and
lots of scope in his ground-covering canter. With these impressive
gaits, it is exciting to feel his extraordinary ability to carry
himself very lightly in the bridle. He has a super lofty trot with a
free shoulder and phenomenal uphill canter with a good motor as well
as an active hind leg and as his foundation continues to build, his
potential exponentially grows. Sagenhaft HW is also very enjoyable in
the barn, as he has good ground manners when being groomed and tacked,
and stands very well for the vet or farrier. He has a very fun, loving
personality, and really enjoys interacting with people. Overall, his
kind demeanor combined with his exciting physical attributes make him
a very promising partner for the future!
Sagenhaft HW will
just need to look at you with his soft eyes and you are in love with
one of the prettiest horses available, he definitely has the "stallion
looks" but is a gelding and waiting for his new person to show
him off at shows or clinics. The judges will love him due to his
expression and "show me" attitude, take him out and collect
your ribbons. He is one of a kind.
He will enable you
to fulfill your dreams with all his abilities and athletic built. The
goal of HW Farm is, to find or breed highly talented young horses for
riders in the USA and all over the world. This is one phenomenal boy
to remember and we are sure that we’ll hear a lot about him and
his famous family in the future. He is a true lover!
Sagenhaft HW is vet
checked with super x-rays!
