Eckart Meyners with Auditor

Hannes Müller

Eckart Meyners is a professor of Sports Physiology and Movement at the Sports University in Lüneberg, Germany.  He has worked with the German National Equestrian Federation for twenty-five years, and has been instrumental in developing the progress of equestrian instruction/ methodology, and rider training in Germany.  He has published in the US. Fit for Riding, Exercise Program for Rider’s, Effective Teaching & Riding and numerous books and articles on the development of the rider’s seat, sport and instructor education in Germany.

Mr. Meyners believes that form follows function, and that each rider is a unique individual in body and mind.  He provides exercises that enable the rider to effectively move in harmony with their horse by unlocking points of resistance.  To achieve this he integrates the concepts of biomechanics, Alexander Techniques, Feldenkrais and more

Hannes Müller, a Master Trainer and Judge in Germany, is currently the Director and Chief Trainer of the German Academy for Professional Riders.  The academy is renowned for its intensive training program to prepare professional trainers prior to their Bereiter and Pferdewirtschaftsmeister exams. Prior to this position, Mr. Mueller was the head Trainer at the German Academy of Professional Riders under the direction of Ralf Rash, a well-known Master Trainer. Mr. Muller has had many articles published in Germany.

In order to be selected for the position of Chief Trainer and Director at the German Academy for Professional Riders, Mr. Mueller is considered as one of the best trainers in Germany.  It is his job to maintain the high standards and quality riding that is expected of all German professional trainers.

Both men, who work together in Germany, are VERY EXCITED
to bring their skills to USA equestrians!
