Eckart Meyners
is a professor of Sports Physiology and Movement at the Sports
University in Lüneberg, Germany. He
has worked with the German National Equestrian Federation for
twenty-five years, and has been instrumental in developing the
progress of equestrian instruction/ methodology, and rider training
in Germany. He has
published in the US. Fit for Riding, Exercise Program for Rider’s,
Effective Teaching & Riding and numerous books and articles on
the development of the rider’s seat, sport and instructor
education in Germany.
Mr.
Meyners believes that form follows function, and that each rider is
a unique individual in body and mind.
He provides exercises that enable the rider to effectively
move in harmony with their horse by unlocking points of resistance.
To achieve this he integrates the concepts of biomechanics,
Alexander Techniques, Feldenkrais and more |
Hannes Müller,
a Master Trainer and Judge in Germany, is currently the Director and
Chief Trainer of the German Academy for Professional Riders.
The academy is renowned for its intensive training program to
prepare professional trainers prior to their Bereiter and
Pferdewirtschaftsmeister exams. Prior to this position, Mr. Mueller
was the head Trainer at the German Academy of Professional Riders
under the direction of Ralf Rash, a well-known Master Trainer. Mr.
Muller has had many articles published in Germany.
In order to
be selected for the position of Chief Trainer and Director at the
German Academy for Professional Riders, Mr. Mueller is considered as
one of the best trainers in Germany. It is his job to maintain
the high standards and quality riding that is expected of all German
professional trainers.
