This rather beautiful horse looks smaller each time I see him. Is
Michael Klimke growing? Nice music. Good paces, gorgeous walk. Not very
exciting, and sometimes the horse looks rather unengaged, making all the
work flat.
If I have to pick two words, they are: Not Enough.

| Michael
Klimke |
Born October 1, 1969, in
Munster, son of Dr. Reiner Klimke. With his sister, Ingrid, he
started riding as soon as he could sit on a horse. While his
sister chose eventing, Michael immediately followed in his
father's footsteps and chose dressage.
From 1988 to 1990, Michael was on the German Young Rider's Team,
winning an individual Bronze and team gold in 1989. In 1990, he
won the European Championship for Boys.
Three years later, when the European Championships were held at
Verden, Michael made the transition to the senior tour. One
year later, when the European Championships were held in Mannheim,
he won the silver medal.
Michael also followed his father's footsteps as an attorney and
specializes in horse sport law. He is a member of the board of the international club of the
Dressage Riders. |
