This horse just gets more beautiful to look at — what an athlete! As
usual, a top performance. Wonderful music, choreography that is
demanding and suited to the horse. And as usual, Anky shows once again
that she is one of the top, top riders.
Idool is not Bonfire. The piaffe is either too forward or it gets
flat. But wonderful passage! SO free and easy, it looks natural and
actually approaches dancing. And Idool can walk!
But the tempis also get a bit flat, and the performance features too
much tail swishing.
Anky really working here to keep the balance, but makes it look so
easy.

medal winner, Bonfire. Together they were usually gold or
silver in their 11 year competition with Isabell Werth and
Gigolo. Both 17 year old geldings were retired after
Sydney. |
