Fireworks of Music and Horsesport
As final event on the Soers Sunday, the unofficial prelude to the
World Equestrian Festival, CHIO Aachen, the Aachen-Laurensberger
Rennverein e.V. (ALRV) together with the symphony orchestra of the
Theatre of Aachen will, for the first time ever, present fireworks of
orchestra music paired with top-class dressage and further fascinating
horse presentations. On Sunday, June 15th, 2003 at 8 p.m., the world's
paramount actors from equestrian sports will enter the Dressage
Stadium, accompanied by the sounds of classical music. WEG Gold
Medalist Nadine Capellmann and Olympic Gold Medalist Alexandre Simons
de Ridder will perform a pas de deux to live symphony. |

Opening
Ceremony - Hungary
Approximately 280 participants and approximately 120 horses will turn
the prelude of the World Equestrian Festival, CHIO Aachen into a
colourful celebration. From Hungarian horsebreeding, the traditional
hussars over to the racy "Hungarian Post", a vivacious
survey of Hungary's horse history will be presented to the audience. |
